One small step. A big difference.
## Your Filaraki, simplified - **My Filaraki:** account navigation is above your content on mobile. Open My reports, Area alerts, Saved animals or Settings directly. - **Area alerts:** choose an area → distance → animal/report types → Enable email alerts. Saving a paused area preserves your email opt-out. Up to ten areas; edit, pause or delete any time. - **Near me:** on the main map, allow approximate browsing or search manually. No personal position marker is shown. Loading, failures and results without coordinates have separate messages. - **Filaraki AI:** get help with the app in Greek, English or Greeklish. Verification normally happens once per 24 hours. Guests have ten messages/day and accounts fifty, resetting at midnight Greece time. Replies use published help and include relevant navigation; the assistant cannot perform actions or inspect private account data. - **Suggest a feature:** use [Suggest a feature](/suggest) in the footer or account menu. Enter your idea and how it helps, with optional follow-up email. Suggestions are reviewed privately. - **Website preferences:** cookies, maps and analytics are in Settings; export and deletion requests are under Privacy & data. Earlier instructions referring to Privacy centre for area alerts are superseded by the navigation above. --- ## Explore the map Nearby report pins group into numbered clusters: tap a cluster to zoom in, then a pin to open its preview. Colours distinguish missing, found, adoptable animals and incidents. Use two fingers to move the map on a phone; a results list is also available. In report and alert forms, tap the map, drag the pin or use **Use map centre** to select a location. Saved alert areas show their radius. If the map is unavailable, continue with address search, GPS or manual entry. --- ## Faster reports and nearby alerts 1. Choose missing, found or an incident. Add the animal's details and photos. 2. Search an address/area and select a suggestion, use current location, or choose a map pin. Confirm the actual incident or last-seen location; it may differ from where you are now. You can also enter the area manually. 3. Check your contact details, review the report and confirm the requested policies. Guest reporting remains available; signing in can fill your name and email. 4. Verify the report email and wait for human review. Google sign-in does not automatically publish a report. In **My account → Privacy centre**, select an alert location, choose a radius (for example 5 km), species and missing/found types, then enable area emails. A radius needs a selected point; manual entries without coordinates use city/region names. Google is an optional sign-in method. Existing users confirm their current password once to connect it while keeping their reports and permissions. --- ## New in v0.3 - **Nearby alerts:** sign in → My account → Privacy centre. Add up to ten areas and enable area emails. Newly published missing/found reports can then reach you in Greek. - **Share safely:** open a published report and download an Instagram Story, Facebook image or A4 PDF. The QR code opens current details; downloaded copies cannot be recalled when a report closes. - **Close the loop:** use your private management link to mark a reunion and tell us whether Filaraki, an AI suggestion, a public message or another channel helped. An AI match is never proof of ownership. - **Organization checklist:** approved organizations open their workspace to complete contact details, a photo, donation information, a first listing and response settings. - **Your choices:** export account data, request deletion and manage optional emails in Privacy centre. Cookie settings separately control maps and analytics. - **Human oversight:** administrators review pending work, failures and AI suggestions. AI does not publish reports or approve organizations. --- ## Welcome to Filaraki Because everyone deserves a friend. Find your next step, whether you are looking for your animal, offering a home or lending a hand. ## I lost or found an animal Open [Report / Help](/report), choose lost or found and follow the steps. Add a photo, description, area, time and contact details. Verify your email to start the checks. No account is needed. Try the short walkthrough below without submitting anything. ## An animal needs help Choose “Incident”. Explain what is happening and where, without putting yourself at risk. The report and evidence remain private for review. In immediate danger, contact the authorities or a veterinarian; this platform is not an emergency service. ## Search, matches and reunions Browse [Lost & Found](/missing-found) and optionally enable the map. From a report you can send a private message, sighting or identification claim after email verification. AI suggestions help you search; they do not prove it is the same animal. Verify ownership safely. Keep the private email link to update, renew, withdraw or mark a reunion. Recover a lost link through [Manage report](/manage). ## Meet your next friend Browse [Adoption](/adopt), read an animal's profile and send an enquiry to the organization. They will contact you about next steps. Tap the heart to keep favorites in [Saved pets](/saved): guest choices stay in that browser, while signed-in choices are linked to your account. ## Together with organizations Explore [organizations](/organizations), contact details, needs, donation links and events. Representing a group? [Apply](/organizations/apply), verify your email and wait for administrator review. After approval, access listings, your profile, events and private contacts/follow-ups. ## Guidance when you need it Read [Guides](/guides) and [FAQs](/contact). The AI assistant in the corner can suggest a next step. Check its advice and do not share private or sensitive personal information. ## Keep us close Add Filaraki to your home screen from the menu. Submissions and up-to-date information require internet access. You can also visit [Support Filaraki](/support). Every small act of help counts.
